The Afghan National Army being trained to take over from the Allied forces who currently try and maintain a balance of law and order in Afghanistan. Training a solid and strong national army is one of the top priorities in Afghanistan. Without it the country is likely to fall victim to another civil war and possibly a new Taliban regime when the allied forces leave. Look like they’ve got a long way to go.
