Gabor Dvornik
was born in Hungary at the time when iron curtain still existed. He has
experienced that rusty madness when he tried to speak freely, they’ve
kicked him out of University for a year and he had to shut up and wait
till the system had changed. Change came, but things are still bad, the
same people manage everything as before just under different slogans and
symbols. He tries to take these experiences and let them shine through
in his pictures, through his eye and soul. Gaor says his picture look
dark ad maybe not as happy as people might want, but he tries to add a
mood to his images. He mainly works with an old Nikon and every picture
is made with the same lense (18-200 G-ED AF).
