In fact, Vettel did not even score points or get to the finish. his race was over after two corners due to a puncture and some broken parts as a result of that puncture. After the 55 laps McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, who had been quick all weekend and was only beaten to poll position in the dying seconds by Vettel, crossed the line in Abu Dhabi as winner.
