It was a busy year if you’re into natural disasters. The Haiti earthquake, floods in Pakistan, earthquakes in Chili, an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, a less televised oil spill in China, volcanos erupting in Iceland and Indonesia and the list goes on. In between these we’ve seen protests against governement cut backs due to the economic crisis in Greece, France and almost every other 1st World nation. And then there are the usual suspects. Still no peace in the Middle East, sex scandals in the church, war in Iraq, war in Afghanistan and China’s march to world domination. These are the first 100 of 200 pictures we’ve chosen as some of the best depicting what was what in 2010. Which stand out most for you? Check back on Friday for the second 100 pictures.
