Nahid La Patisserie Artistique and Mimi So wedding cake– $20 million
The expensive cake was created by cake designers Nahid La Patisserie Artistique along with jewelers Mimi So. These people and their bodyguards brought out the cake for the first time at the Luxury Bridal Show on Rodeo Drive of Beverly Hills in 2006.Both exclusive and invaluable jewls are decked on the cake. The diamond-constellated masterpiece was said to be worth $20 million at that time. Unfortunately, Mimi So did not expose the total diamond she attached on the creamy wedding cake.
Diamond fruitcake – $1.65 million
This cake was created by a Japanese pastry chef and was sold on Christmas 2005. Six months of conceptualization and another month of producing the cake is the duration that made the cake a reality. It’s decorated with 223 diamonds and everything else is fully comestible. The other ingredients, however, remain unrevealed. This is a masterpiece in Food Art and it will be exhibited in the seventeen diamond-related designs in an exhibit called “Diamonds: Nature’s Miracle.” The chef is wise enough, not to disclose the ingredients.

A diamond wedding cake created by Dallas Bakery is reported to be of worth US$ 1,300,000. The cake is big enough and can be served to almost 320 invitees but with a condition of paying US$3,125 afterwards. This overweening cake is supposed to be for Royals wedding, sons of billionaires, and Hollywood celebrities. Diamond bakery recruited Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange to blink and beautify the 160 pounds wedding cake with silver ‘sheen’ dust icing and 1,200 karats of Diamonds. The diamond wedding cake rode an armored vehicle. Full alert security guards stood right there for the cake’s security. Dallas Bakery showed the Diamond wedding cake for the first time at the hall of the Dallas Bridal Show.
Platinum Cake – $130,000
Created by Japanese pastry chef Nobue Ikara, this white cake is decked with platinum necklaces, pins, pendants and, for good measure, edible platinum flakes. The creator dedicated the cake to a number of famous Japanese women like Rinko Kikuchi and Chie Kumazawa. His hope was to encourage more women to wear platinum jewelry. The cake hasn’t been sold and the company has no idea whether it will be sold or not, but they do know it is worth more than many can afford.

The incredibly priced chocolate cake braided with pabulum gold has given a new meaning to the word “Rich Food”. The cake came up with a price tag of £12,000.The chocolate sundae – unveiled by New York restaurateur Stephen Bruce – contains edible 23-karat gold and is served in a calix lined with edible gold. 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the orb were also blended into the cake.The sundae is topped with whipped cream covered with more gold and a side of La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier, which sells for £13,000 a pound. Adding to the gold, the cake is eaten with a gold spoon decorated with white and chocolate-coloured diamonds, which can also be taken home.
